Great Twilight Costume Ideas that Is Sure to Rock Your Halloween

Twilight has been a big hit - both the book and the movie. Many people are fascinated by the vampires in these books, and with New Moon the film about to release, Twilight characters are becoming even more popular. With Halloween just round the corner, why don’t you consider taking your love of Twilight and incorporating it into some Halloween fun. Whether you are going out trick-or-treating or you plan to attend a Halloween party, here are some great Twilight ideas for costumes that you may wish to use this year.

One of the most well liked characters in the Twilight books happens to be Edward. He is the main guy in the books - the one that Bella falls in love with. If you’re a bloke and you need to be a vampire, Edward is good choice. If you want to be Edward, it doesn’t need to be too tricky. Of course, since vampires are pale, you’ll need to use some terribly light foundation to make your skin really pale. Some amber or topaz contacts can give you the right look for your eyes also. You can purchase an Edward costume, or make your own with a couple of jeans and a nice button up shirt. Add the spiky hair and you’ll be looking good for Halloween.

Another of the great Twilight Costumes is to dress up as Bella. This is a great option for the gals, and since she is the main character in the Twilight books, this costume choice is certain to be a great hit for Halloween. If you have long brown hair, you’re the lucky one, but even if you don’t, you can easily find a wig at costume stores or perhaps at online Auction sites, eg eBay. Find a good Bella costume or get a hoodie and some jeans to make the look yourself comfortable.

Going as Jacob is a great idea for the guys. Jacob becomes a crucial part of this series of books, and he’ll definitely be a huge part of the New Moon film, coming out shortly. You’ll need to be pretty tall and bulky to tug off this personality, but the costuming is pretty easy. A black wig can give you the hair, and all that you need is a couple of jeans. If you don’t have the darker skin that Jacob has, you can add on somebody makeup. Of course, another of the Twilight costume ideas is to go as Jacob when he’s a wolf, which brings up whole new chances for Halloween.

Though these are three of the main characters you can go as for Halloween, they aren’t the sole Twilight Costumes out there. Other great characters to dress up as include Alice, Rosalie, Victoria, Esme, Dr. Cullin, Jasper, Emmet, Laurent, or even James. Any of these ideas are sure to be a great hit for Halloween and the costumes are straightforward to find or make on your own.
